Initial feedback from Wheelscape was very good, overall positive feedback with a few suggestions. I'm glad the idea of giving everyone their a personal business card went down well, it was a change from grouping several people on 1 card.
Although he liked the banner, it was very similar to one of their competitions banners, in nearly every way. A little unfortunate for me, as it means starting nearly from the ground up on it. Or finding a good work around solution to the problem.
I plan to work fast on this and have it done within the afternoon, in order to get some feedback again today from him.
This is my reflective thoughts and some rabble on my professional practice module for BA Visual Communication.

Deadline is nearing.
With my deadline approaching quickly on Friday, I feel comfortable that all work will get done, although it means a busy week this week for me. 90% of the creative work is done for Zen, and all is done for Wheelscape, I still need to put together a little presentation or pdf for them. Although I cant see that taking long, particularly for Wheelscape.
I still need to complete and start my evaluation. I also need to review my time keeping for the module in my research. Which brings me to my research, I would say it is done, however I need to arrange it and clean it up for final hand in.
Other than that, I just need to clean up my bibliography for the module, and that is this project done. I am unfortunate not to get another meeting with Zen before the hand in, however I am counting on some feedback from Wheelscape Tuesday/Wednesday, Tomorrows task is to put together and send my final Wheelscape designs and ideas to them.

Concern
My work for the module is on track to be completed for the hand in date, However I do still have a concern about getting in touch with Zen before the end of the module. I was not able to get a client meeting before Christmas, to discuss logos, and names with them, which unfortunately led me to creating separate branding and identity things for a few logos. I have kept it organised and they all use a standardised layout and look. because of this, I am currently unable to show them finished everything for their brief. and I might not be ready until next week.
I may as a back up finish the Wheelscape brief for them asap, and show them their things. For me the most important thing of this module is the client contact, it is a weak area for me and i would like to get the chance to receive some client feedback for the hand in date.

Yesterday
Yesterday, was a good day for feedback and evaluating what I had currently done, and what I should look at to further my research.
My research and creative work was looked at and discussed in a good amount of detail. My research was considered good in quality, with only a few areas to look at to help it. However I still feel confidant it is too a good standard for this course, provided I finish one or two pages.
My main creative work for Zen was also considered going in a good direction, and I should be finishing that any day now. It also sparked some good ideas for the Wheelscape design work, in particular the business cards for them. Again which I hope to finish soon, however they are not involved with the final submission for this module. However it has been a good and vital experience for me in terms of working with a client and working with something I love doing (skateboarding).
Overall I just need to finish the creative work and put some of the finishing touches on my research and paperwork. I think I will be ready to finish my module comfortably for the early hand in for myself on the 18th of Jan.

Getting along with the Branding for Zen, keeping it simple, using a basic structure to all the different types, however they do vary due to different logos.
Still unsure on what back up font to go with the designs. Going with a basic sans-serif for now, which has a modern look to it. Its pretty much what I want with it, but threes so many similar.
